Agreement

By creating an account or using InkOrigins you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The Service

InkOrigins provides: (1) a curated tattoo design gallery with cultural stories; (2) AI image-to-image customization of designs; (3) a personal library; (4) optional public sharing and community features; (5) paid HD downloads.

Accounts & Free Quota

• You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction (13+ minimum, 18+ recommended for tattoo-related decisions).
• Each account receives 5 free successful AI generations, lifetime (not per day). Quotas are bound to accounts, not devices.
• You are responsible for activity under your account. Credential (email) signups may receive quotas only after email verification, to prevent abuse.

Acceptable Use & AI Content Policy

Your use of the AI studio is governed by our AIGC Content Policy, which lists the six prohibited categories in full. In short, you must not use InkOrigins to generate, upload or share:

• Pornography or NSFW content
• Violence or gore
• Hate speech
• Child-unsafe content, including CSAM
• Deepfakes or impersonation of real people
• Content that infringes copyright, trademark or other rights

You also agree not to upload reference images you lack the rights to use, bypass quotas, paywalls, rate limits or access controls, scrape the gallery at abusive rates, or misrepresent AI works as human-tattooed results.

Violations may result in a warning, content removal, forfeiture of generation credits, feature restrictions, suspension or permanent ban, and — for the most severe cases — referral to law enforcement. Moderation, reporting channels, response times and appeals are described in the AIGC Content Policy. We cooperate with lawful copyright and safety takedown requests.

AI-Generated Content

• AI outputs are algorithmic reinterpretations, not guaranteed unique — similar designs may exist.
• AI designs are starting points, not tattoo-ready stencils. Always have a professional tattoo artist review linework, sizing and placement before getting inked.
• We label AI-generated and AI-assisted works in the community.
• Models we use: our editor currently generates and edits images with Nano Banana (Google's Gemini image model) via fal.ai, uses Clarity Upscaler for enhancement, and BiRefNet for background removal. We name the active model in the studio and update this list when we add or change models. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or branded as any model provider.

Cultural Respect

Many designs carry religious, genealogical or ritual meaning. We provide cultural notes and sources in good faith but they are educational, not exhaustive — research significant symbols before wearing them permanently.

Downloads & Licenses

• Browsing, saving previews and sharing are free; HD / full-resolution downloads require purchase unless stated otherwise.
• Downloads include a personal-use license (your own tattoo reference, personal prints). Commercial use (flash sheets for sale, merchandise, client work) requires the commercial terms shown at checkout, where offered.
• Download links are short-lived and personal to the purchasing account.

Payments, Billing & Refunds

Payments are processed by Waffo Pancake, our merchant of record. Prices are shown in USD unless noted; applicable taxes are shown at checkout. Card data is handled by Waffo and is never stored on our servers.

Subscriptions (Pro)

• Pro is available monthly or yearly and renews automatically at the end of each period until cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time in Account Settings → Billing, or through the Waffo customer portal. Cancellation stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
• 7-day money-back guarantee: a first-time Pro purchase (the initial charge, not a renewal) is refundable within 7 days of the charge if you have not made an HD download and have used no more than 20% of the generations included in that period.

Lifetime (one-time purchase)

• Lifetime is a single payment for ongoing access to the features described at purchase.
• 7-day money-back guarantee: refundable within 7 days of purchase if you have not made an HD download.
• Once you make an HD download, the purchase is final, except for billing errors or rights granted by law.

Always refundable

• Duplicate or incorrect charges, and purchases we failed to deliver.
• A verified service outage within our control lasting more than 72 consecutive hours (pro-rated).
• Mandatory statutory rights, such as the EU/UK 14-day right of withdrawal. By starting a generation or download you ask us to begin performance; where permitted by law, the withdrawal right ends once the digital content has been fully delivered.

Not refundable

• Renewal charges after the 7-day window, partially used billing periods, and change of mind after substantial use.
• Accounts terminated for violating the AIGC Content Policy or these terms.
• Fees charged by third parties, such as your bank's currency-conversion fees.

How to request a refund

Email support@tattoofactory.one or use our Contact page with: your account email, the Waffo order/transaction ID from your receipt, and the reason for the request. You can also open a request in the Waffo customer portal.

Processing times

• We acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days.
• Approved refunds are sent to your original payment method within 5–10 business days via Waffo; your bank may take up to 30 days to post the credit.
• Billing disputes: contact us within 30 days of the charge; we respond within 2 business days and aim to resolve within 5 business days.

Intellectual Property

• The official gallery's artwork, stories and layout are owned by InkOrigins or its licensors. Do not redistribute the catalog wholesale.
• You retain rights in images you upload; you grant us a license to store, process (including via AI providers) and display them as needed to operate the service and as you direct (private vs. shared).

Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, quota fraud or unlawful behavior. Private works are deleted with the account; already-shared public copies are unpublished.

Disclaimers & Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, InkOrigins is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including tattoo outcomes based on AI designs. Our total liability is limited to amounts you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email or in-product notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
